BMX/SKATEBOARD PARK MEETING MINUTES
October 16th, 2008
I. TIME AND PLACE OF MEETING
Lori Gabriel called the meeting to order on Thursday, October 16, 2008 at 6:40 p.m. at the Park Hill Committee Room, located off Windsorville Road, Broad Brook.

Regular meeting minutes of September 18, 2008.
MOTION: To accept the regular meeting minutes of September 18, 2008, as submitted.

V. PUBLIC PARTICIPATION
John Giadano from Scranton Motors attended the meeting. He is interested in combining
Our group with his company to do a fundraising event. He gave us many ideas and is a
Local resident here in East Windsor. We are going to send information on Little Italy for
Him to post on his Company Website. He suggested looking at sponsorships, and we
Are considering ways to obtain larger business sponsorships.
VI. OLD BUSINESS
A. Oktoberfest; The Oktoberfest was a great success! It was a beautiful day with
Approximately 102 guests! We are grateful to be acquiring community support.
B. Chris Arre updated Fundraising Dollars for the members records
C. Donations and Thank you letter update. Lori is creating a new fundraising letter
For a local company mass mail out, Barbara is obtaining envelopes and printing
Return labels for the mailing. We will all go through the business as a group.
VII. NEW BUSINESS
Little Italy:
A. K nights of Columbus, 27 Depot St. Broad Brook.
Saturday, November 1st, 2008 5-8 pm
All you can eat! Patty handed out job positions to the committee for the upcoming event. We are all gathering dishes & item for that night.
Lori is looking into Bread, Laura is making signs, Eve has purchased
Lettering and inserts for the signs. Patty is having a make A basket night for all the raffle items. Brenda is gathering children to help Serve the night of the event. Mark is looking into wine for the event.
